Secret #1 – Review

Jonathan Hickman’s latest creator-owned series with artist Ryan Bodenheim shows off a strength for espionage writing but doesn’t really distinguish itself as anything that unique. The teeth pulling is cool and all, but the reasons for it and other events that happen are too glossed over for a first issue that is supposed to get me interested in what’s happening.

Star Trek #3 Review

En route to Makus III with desperately needed medical supplies, the Enterprise encounters a quasar phenomena at Murasaki 312. Kirk sends a party of seven including Mr. Spock, Dr. McCoy and Mr. Scott to explore the phenomena aboard the shuttle Galileo. With their deadline to Makus III looming, the phenomena disables the shuttle and it crashes on the planet surface. It appears to the Enterprise that the shuttle is lost – a needle in a haystack!
