Precious things are back this week with the second trailer for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the first film in his (now) trilogy which rockets us back to Middle Earth. Also returning with a second trailer is Sinister, but this time it’s come fully prepared to freak-out, offering up utterly disturbing footage that promises to make this the must-see horror film of the year.
Last time we checked in on Guillermo del Toro’s Beauty and the Beast redo, Emma Watson was set for the lead. Still, there was sense of when the film would get off the ground. Now, the actress relays that filming should begin next year.
Back in June, 20th Century Fox signed up Rise of the Planet of the Apes director Rupert Wyatt for the sequel, but the project could already be in jeopardy of losing him. Deadline has heard that Wyatt might leave the project due to time restraints.

Director Pete Travis and writer Alex Garland have brought a grim, gritty and violent version of the comic to the screen that will please fans of the 2000 AD creation.
