There have many adaptations of Shakespeare’s plays over the years, including modernizations. Some have worked like Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet to more unsuccessful one like Sam Worthington’s 2006 version of Macbeth. Ralph Fiennes has turned to adapting a lesser known Shakespeare play, Coriolanus in his directional debut and he does it very well.
As the enormous wake of The Avengers subsides (however gradually) Warner Bros. has wasted no time in ramping up The Dark Knight Rises marketing campaign with posters, banners, trailers and most recently, four TV spots that have also debuted online.

From Shakespeare, to a Western, to two thrillers and a violence sports comedy, there is a little something for everybody with this week’s releases, with the likes of Coriolanus, Goon and two Ingmar Bergman movies.
After a mighty three-week reign, the return of star Will Smith was enough to finally dethrone mega-blockbuster The Avengers, though it still posted the second-best fourth weekend of all time.
