The PAM-10: Mind-Bending Movies

They’re known as the movies you have to see twice, or sometimes more affectionately as the movies after which you say “I don’t know what the $%*# just I just saw.” For now, I’ll call them mind-benders: films that are so enigmatic and intricately woven that wow you at the end, even if you have no idea what happened. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Review

Over-promotion is the first sign of a lacking film. Another clue is a release date change too near to opening day. The over-the-top adventure starring Nicolas Cage tries its hardest to create movie magic, but ends up placing too much emphasis in its least redeeming aspects.
