Ron Howard and company just can’t catch a break. Word has come down that Warner Bros. has passed on financing the adaptation of Stephen King’s bestselling “Dark Tower” novels.
Although it debuted to a lesser amount than its 2010 predecessor, the gang of aging action heroes in The Expendables 2 was still tough enough to score a first-place finish at the box office while other newcomers more or less managed to find audiences.
The Expendables 2 is now in theaters and now is the time to conduct the final phase of our search for the best Expendable. The semifinal produced two clear winners: Arnold Schwarzenegger, who beat Jason Statham 4 votes to 1, and Bruce Willis, who earned a clean sweep. Yes, it is a battle between the Terminator and John McClane. It is going to be a titanic contestant between two of the biggest action stars around. Voting closes on Tuesday, August 21 at 9:00 p.m. PST. May the best man win.
