It’s a shame that the five excellent developers below have stopped developing for the PC and we can only hope they return to the PC to provide us with more excellent games to play.

Terraria Review

Terraria is a new game that was suddenly released, with little fanfare, by developer Re-Logic on May 16. It was anticipated for quite some time as a sort of 2D parallel to Minecraft,
being directly cited as a reference and taking several game elements
into scope. It’s an open world 2D platformer, with world building themes

Monolith has also released a plethora of other quality games over the span of their existence and, over time, as I’ve experienced more and more of their titles, Monolith has become one of my favorite developers, and certainly worthy of attention.

Almost three years after the collapse of Flagship Studios, T3 Entertainment has announced that Hellgate: London will be returning to PC gamers as a free to play title. While the game’s name has been shortened to simply Hellgate, it will still be set in a post-apocalyptic demon-ravaged London and players can get a taste of it later this year with a short beta in early June.

Weekend Deals End of the World Edition

The internet assures me that the world will end tomorrow, which means that we only have a few hours left to enjoy video games.  Sure, logic would tell us to go out and buy the most expensive games we can find, since Judgement Day is at hand, and we’ll be too busy roasting in Hellfire to worry about our credit card bills, but let’s just go out on a limb and assume that fiscal responsibility might still be important next week, so we’ll try to find some good games deals.  For starters, we have Direct2Drive.com’s Potato Sack- I mean “Indie Sack”.
